What's Up Wednesday October 11, 2023 #89

The week on What's Up Wednesday, we're halfway thru the 2023 Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta.

We're going to be brief today. Just a reminder that while we have set aside inventory for those of you attending in the second half of the week, quantities are still limited, so if you see something you like, buy it right then and there.

We did introduce a new pin this past Saturday. It's Marvin the Martian and goes great with the T-Shirt. Marvin is blasting into Albuquerque, with an AREA 51 or AIBF 51 notation on his ship. The shirt also reminds Marvin there's an eclipse happening on Saturday.

And we have heard your frustration at not being able to get your hands on the Solar Eclipse pin and in some cases Marvin the Martian pin. Starting now, we are taking pre-orders for BOTH of these pins. The pre-order will be available thru the end of the month, when we'll place an order for these pre-orders. We expect to have them in hand at the end of November and delivered to you by Dec 10. But remember these are estimates!

Remember DO NOT look at the sun during the eclipse unless you have special viewing glasses. And it just so happens, we have a nice collectors set for you. The glasses pop out of the information card that contains some fun facts, safety information and a map of the eclipse path across the U.S. It's great for remembering the event, long after the glasses have outlived their usefullness.
