What's Up Wednesday, November 8, 2023 #93

Ken Tuley ·

This week on What's Up Wednesday, the last of our inventory consolidation and good news about those pre-ordered eclipse pins.

As you'll remember, for the past 3 weeks we've been consolidating, counting and restocking inventory from our 51st Balloon Fiesta. An event that set a record for attendance and a lot more.

This week it's inventory from our Sponsor and Navigator teams. That includes 3 in 1 parka style jackets that have a removable fleece inner jacket. You can wear the shell, or the fleece, or combine the 2 for those coldest days and nights. The maroon and gray jacket also has a removable hood and a large full color logo embroidered on the back of the shell, and a smaller logo on the left check of the inner fleece. You may have seen these jackets in their different configurations on Balloon Fiesta Live! as they were worn by our announcers throughout the event. There is also a ball cap to match. The ball caps are in limited supply.

From our Navigator team, we have a number of the Navigator jackets now in stock. This soft-shell medium weight jacket is teal with purple accents. There are two pockets up high for things like your cell phone, in addition to the two hand pockets for your gloves. Even the inside of the removable hood is purple. This color combination with the full color embroidered logo on the back was extremely popular with our Navigators.

Our Navigators (volunteers) were also given t-shirts in both long and short sleeve versions. The light teal shirt features the Navigator logo on the back, and the Navigator sponsor logo of Xfinity on the sleeve and goes perfect with the Navigator jacket. By the way if you're interested in joining our team of more than a thousand Navigators for 2023, the application opens in February over on BalloonFiesta.com.

Now for the news on the pre-ordered Eclipse pins. They have shipped from the manufacturer and are on their way to us. If all goes according to plan, we'll start shipping the more than 5,000 pre-ordered pins early next week. That will include those orders that have other items in addition to the pins on them. Watch your email for the tracking number or for a notice that it's ready to pick up in the gift shop.

We are still receiving emails daily about how to get an eclipse pin. Next week on What's Up Wednesday, we'll be in a position to definitely answer that question. If you know someone that is not receiving What's Up Wednesday, send them to https://balloonfiestastuff.com/pages/wuw-subscribe so they don't miss out on anything.

Thanks for your support of Balloon Fiesta and Balloon Fiesta Stuff.
