What's Up Wednesday, January 3, 2024, #101

This week on What's Up Wednesday, Happy New Year, a new logo, refreshed look and we're open for business for 2024!

Happy New Year! We hope your celebration was safe and how you wanted it to be. We've completed all that counting stuff, and it's now in the hands of the accountants so we can back to creating and obtaining memorable items for you! 

Before we get too far into 2024, have you discovered you don't have a 2024 Balloon Fiesta Calendar? We still have them available. Individually they are $5, but you can pick up a case of them for $50 or just $2 apiece. Don't forget there are 40 minutes of beautiful balloon video embedded in the calendar.

To start the year off right we decided to create a new logo. It's on the site right now and if you haven't noticed it, it's right here.

Created for us by Chris Garrity of HH Promotions, one of the folks that creates the artwork you see on T-shirts and other items, we think it adds a little style boost to our name. But we have gone beyond just the logo, Daniel Killen, the official poster artist from 2018-2022 has created an art piece that we just love. We're using part of that artwork to dress up the home page of the online store. Keep your eyes here on What's Up Wednesday for more of that image to be revealed and available for purchase in the future.

We have also gone through the store and cleaned up a few items, like standardizing some fonts and other graphics. It's probably not too obvious, but hopefully it provides a more consistent look and feel. 

Those clearance prices we put in place in December, remain, although we have removed a number of items that have grown a little stale. The last bit of clean-up is in all those orders you placed but haven't picked up yet. We're here from 8-5 Monday through Friday for pickup, 9-5 for shopping. If you're having trouble getting here, we can arrange to ship it to you. Just send us an email and let us know how we can facilitate getting your order to you.

With all that work done, we're on to creating items for the 2024 event. Magnets and keychains are already in production, and meetings are scheduled later this month to finalize for the new line of clothing for this year. We have more on all the new items in the weeks ahead.
