This week on What's Up Wednesday, it's December Sale time, we have a preview and some brand new items in stock just in time for the holidays.
Let's start with the new items. Just added are two Christmas themed long sleeve t-shirts and a hand-embroidered stocking.
The first shirt is gray with a hot air balloon made of red and green chilis. Balloon Fiesta Christmas is the logo on the balloon. Santa and his reindeer are in the basket.
The second shirt is dark green with an ugly sweater pattern on the front. Asking the New Mexico State question....Red, Green, or Christmas. This shirt is perfect when you want to have the ugly sweater look, without the bulk of an actual sweater. These shirts are not dated so they will make excellent Christmas gifts.
We also have added a nice heavy and hand embroidered balloon stocking. The pattern is the same on each of these but the colors of the balloons are different. Since each one is unique, we can't really offer a color choice. Grab one for each member of your family.
Now on to the December sale. Also known as the Balloon Fiesta Black Friday sale, the Garage Sale and other names. It starts this Friday night at 8pm Mountain Time. It's your chance to stock up on all things Balloon Fiesta at rock bottom prices. Nearly every dated item we have left will be on sale. Ornaments, magnets, keychains have been reduced by 50%.
Bags of every size and kind, including those flight bags are more than 50% off. And there are a lot of stocking stuffer items available as well at 50% or more off the retail price
Ball caps, are now more than 50% off. T-shirts are at least 50% off. Remember that not all shirts are available in all sizes.
And maybe the most popular item every year in this sale are the jackets. We have Sponsor jackets, Navigator jackets, Gordon Bennett jackets, Globitos jackets, and even a few 50th anniversary jackets available. They are all on sale at blowout prices. Again, not all sizes available in every jacket.

Here is the insider scoop on how to score your full bag of goodies in this sale.
First. Shop online now. Use the new wishlist feature to bookmark the items you are interested in. This will also allow you to make sure you can easily log in to the site. If you want to check out sizes and material, stop by the Gift Shop today or tomorrow, 9-5. We'll be closing at noon on Friday to prepare for the sale.
Second. Set a calendar reminder for 8 pm, Mountain time for Friday, December 8. That's when the online store reopens for business. (The online store will be closed at noon on Friday to prepare for the big sale.)
Third. After placing your order, wait for the notification email to come pickup your orders. We'll be packing all weekend, and we'll be available for free local pickup from 10-4 on both Saturday and Sunday this weekend only. If you choose shipping, we should have everything ready for the post office to pick up on Monday.
The Online Only sale ends at 8 am on Monday. At that time, we'll close the online store to readjust inventory quantities, and reopen about noon, and the Gift Shop on Tuesday morning at 9. While the low prices will remain, history tells us, there won't be a lot of inventory left.
